This facility is a collaboration of three businesses and one non-profit organization. We specialize in the sales and installation of residential and commercial Solar PV (electric) systems. Our goal is to teach our clients how to Conserve and Generate their own energy. Our energy conservation program reduces the clients electric bill (typically 20%-30%). We begin by performing an energy evaluation on the home or business and providing a report, or what we like to call a “Road Map”, laying out all the energy saving possibilities, resulting in the lowest possible kWh usage. Once the energy conservation goal is achieved we design a grid-tied Solar PV system (with or without battery back-up) to reduce or eliminate the balance of the electric bill, putting our clients on the road to self sustainability. Green Living Education Center of Virginia (opening in 2012) is a non-profit venue for schools & groups, as well as, the general public wanting to gather knowledge in the field of renewable energy and sustainable/green living. There is an indoor interactive media center with two mini-theaters, that will engage and captivate all audiences. There is a large outdoor education center that uses hands on experience to teach the skills needed for leading a sustainable lifestyle, displayed in an enriching and nurturing environment, planned by our Board of Directors and designed and managed by local youth organizations and our community volunteers.
