I have had nothing but good experience with Gilliam Music. I tried another music store in Norman for a small item needed on separate occasions and they did not seem to care that I was a potential customer. Whenever I stop by the store, I always observe the customers being treated as valued. Just because there are two people who say they have had a bad experience...does not qualify to rate the store. It is great Norman has such a good music store!

They have great prices compared to Norman music across town but the staff is very rude.

I went in just to kill some time, when I saw a guitar I had been searching for, so I grabbed it off the stand. I was looking for a cable to plug the guitar into an amp. So when I couldn't find one, I asked one of the employees. He said he would get me one as soon as he was finished with somebody else. (which he wasn't tending to at the time) So I waited, and waited, and waited. Finally I left. So if you are not there to buy, don't go. And if you expect to be treated with respect, forget it.
