Grace Church

Wow, for people with real problems; this is a great evangelism church. I have a young child and she's getting in that in between age. Too old for the children's area and wants to sit in the service with me. Well, these issues they bring up are sometimes very serious and I think might be too serious for my 9 year old to hear. I would like a church where I could sit with my 9 year old without having to worry what is going to be talked about in the main service. Unfortunately, I have to look for another church. I appreciate them addressing issues right on the head but feel some of the stuff should saved for separate groups for the more serious problems. Again, I love the church for adult issues and think that the "bringing them out" is definitely needed. But from the family point of view, too serious for my 9 year old's ears. I need something a little more light hearted. But again, I appreciate their efforts in really helping maybe save the drug addict out there, the promiscuous person who doesn't see it as wrong, etc. Best wishes Grace.

Grace Church is a mega church which challenges you to put feet on your faith. They have a weekend of service every year where services are cancelled and the church is encouraged to go out and serve on various projects in the community. This Nov. there were over 3800 participants in the weekend of service. It takes a brave church to dismiss services because I'm sure the offerings go down on that weekend.
