General Info: Dr. Ferrara obtained her medical degree from Northeastern Ohio Universities College of Medicine (NEOMED) in 2002. She trained in pediatric medicine at Northside Medical Center in Youngstown, Ohio, where she received Junior and Senior Resident Teaching Awards. She is the co-founder of Premium Pediatrics, Inc., which opened in 2005. Along with seeing patients at the practice, she has also served as Newborn Nursery Co-Director at Northside Hospital for the past 6 years. Dr. Ferrara has been Board Certified in Pediatrics since 2005, and is a fellow of the American Board of Pediatrics. She is a member of the American Academy of Pediatrics, and serves as Clinical Assistant Professor in Pediatrics for the Ohio University College of Osteopathic Medicine. Dr. Ferrara graduated from Austintown Fitch High School, and completed her undergraduate studies at Youngstown State University. Her hobbies include: reading, puzzles, watching the Steelers, Cavs, Indians, Penguins, Buckeyes and relaxing with her husband and son.
