Sylvestre Franc Salon-Day Spa

I love this salon...The color and style I got was outstanding. I get so many compliments on my hair. Highly recommended !

I had a similar experience at Sylvestre Franc. I had a permanent. My neck got a

third degree burn from the chemicals. When I went back in person to talk to the

owner Sylvestre who performed the work, he was dismissive and offered nothing.



No reimbursement, not even remorse. Horrible experience there.

I had my hair straightened at the salon by Sylvestre. I previously went to a salon in NYC where I used to live and had the process done for 6 years with great success. However, after going to Sylvestre Franc, my hair became curly again after only two months! (It is supposed to last between 6 and 10 months) Also, he burnt the under layers of my hair with the solution.



I called the salon and through the receptionist (he didn't even have the courtesy to get on the phone, nor return my phone call himself later in the day) I was told that I could ONLY have the process re-done by Sylvestre (not even another stylist) and he would not even refund a portion of my money. Who would want to return for a 4 hour process to the same person who burnt my hair the first time?!?! What a waste of time and energy. I would have been happy with $300 back, even though I paid $630 with tip and we could have gone our separate ways thinking this was just a bad experience. Instead I would like to warn people that this salon does bad business!! If it could happen to me it could happen to you...
