Rider Pest Control

THE WORST!!! I paid for a termite inspection for a house I purchased. They have zero integrity and never checked in the crawl space...just wrote a report stating the house has NO signs of termite activity active or otherwise. Gave the previous owner a pass...now they don't need to pay for corrective measures for the multiple signs of termite infestation in my home found by an actual pest control company. I called Early Bird Termite and Pest Control to do preventative just to find out Rider Pest Control RIPPED me off. I contacted Rider. The receptionist immediately lies & tells me the inspection letter they provided for $75 was good for one month. I pointed out the 90 days and the one year language on their letter & emailed the owner pictures of the termite activity in my crawl space, left my phone number for her to call me; I did not receive a call back until late in the day after I email her again that I have the estimate $1160 to correct to termite infestation & that I'm having a reputable company provide the remedy since Rider already lied & basically stole money from me. The owner Betty was so rude on the phone. She was loud & unapologetic for the lack of honest service. She hung up on me after informing me I'd get $75 worth of corrective action from Rider to protect my home from termites. That was it. They lied, let the previous owner walk away without treating the house & I'm supposed to just get over it & let THEM come do "minimum treatment" after they have revealed themselves as being dishonest crooks.

The worst & rude...the owner acted like I just tried to steal from her and not the other way around. Do not use this company! I retired from the AF and bought my retirement home here in GA... I pray this is not an example of the best of GA businesses. What is wrong with having a little integrity? Earn what you get. Stealing from folks will only cost you more in the long run. Seriously terrible attitudes & horrible service from the owner to employees. Beware! They have family members write positive reviews...be careful.

I don't typically write these so if that counts for much please know how grateful I am for this company. We've had a recurring rat problem for a few months and another company couldn't seem to handle it. Called Rider, and they were able to resolve it quickly and efficiently. The manager, Sid, came out and was able to identify additional points of entry, made recommendations such as cutting back tree limbs that were overhanging onto our roof and closing up some opening along the side of the house I hadn't previously been made aware of. They've got the problem resolved and my business for a long time!

My family and I have used this company for almost a decade. They treat both my home as well as my neighbor's home. I'm impressed with the level of dedication they've put into their quality controls. They rotate which technicians come out every quarter so they're always checking up on each others work as well as having a manager come out sporadically throughout the year. They've kept every appointment we've ever had with them. Their pricing is competitively the best around in the area. I've always loved doing business with the smaller family run organizations as it keeps everything on a more personal level.

Had a pest issue, the staff the took the call was extremely professional, the manager came out that day to inspect while I was present. He showed me different avenues the pests had into the home and recommended a solution to prevent the issue going forward. Very reasonably priced and excellent all around service.
