EXPRESS CUTS

I've been a barber/hairstylist for 16 years and have worked for Express Cuts in the past, as well as had my haircut there. I will say without a doubt in all my years as a stylist, I've never had a better haircut than the haircut Vivian gave me while I was employed at Express Cuts. The best benefit of actually working there was getting a haircut by Vivian. No doubt, both owners Vu and Vivian are the most talented artists I've ever seen in my entire career. 5 star STYLISTS all the way.

Will never go back! How do you cut hair without washing it? She had no clue what she was doing! Thank God I only had 2" cut, but don't go to Vivian. Sorry.

I was a walk-in and met Kathleen today. She was very friendly,very professional and worked very quickly. I was in serious need of a good haircut. We have great conversation and she was done before I knew it! It was a great experience and at a price that was unbelievable! Ya can't go wrong!

A friend suggested I visit Kathleen when I said I needed someone new to cut my hair. She was very friendly, professional, and gave a great haircut! I'll definitely be going back, and suggesting her to my friends.

Recently I was referred by a friend to visit Kathleen from Express Cuts in Newington to get my hair cut. I am very particular and picky about the style and cut of my hair and beard but I gave Kathleen complete creative freedom and was nothing but satisfied at the end of my haircut. Kathleen kept the conversation going throughout the hair cut while answering all of my questions and concerns with a friendly and welcoming attitude! Kathleen was also very knowledgeable about questions I had concerening the upkeep of my hair! I would recommend Express Cuts to anyone looking for an inexpensive hair cut and a friendly experience.

Oh, did I mention that the haircut I received was and is fantastic? Well I did now!

I am growing out my hair, and have just been getting health trims. I went to Express Cuts for the first time in late September and was pleased with the experience, the lady did a nice job. (one inch taken off my hair that is one length). I needed another trim, so I went back today. The lady that was there (a different stylist than the first visit) may as well have used garden shears. My hair is totally uneven. On the left side there are small sections that are uneven and much longer than the rest. I noticed this once I got home and washed/blow dried my hair my way. When I was blow drying and saw the uneven ends, I couldn't believe it! Prior to leaving the lady showed the back to me in the mirror, but it was tossled so it looked okay. I will be going back tomorrow and asking for a refund. The only way this can be fixed and still keep the length is to angle it, and put in some long layers. That's exactly what I didn't want, because I am trying to get my hair long enough to donate for charity. I am so so so disappointed in my experience, and will not be giving Express Cuts my business again.

It Was A Great First Visit. The Salon Has A Level Of Excellence That Is Unknown To Most Salons. The Two Owners Have An Impeccable Sense Of Customer Service & It's Put Into Practice By Everyone Working There. Needless To Say The Cuts & Color From This Salon Are Absolute Perfection. I Recommend Express Cuts To Anyone Who Wants Go In & Get The Perfect Hair Cut The First Time.

I've been getting my hair cut by Vu for years. Even when I moved away from his shop in East Windsor I still traveled back every time because he is that good. I'm pumped to see he has a new location open in Newington which is much closer for me. Let him cut your hair once and you'll never go to another barber again. Vu is the man!
