Overall
Warm Weather is coming - this is a great stop!

This place is in Newburyport and the warm weather is coming. It's right in the middle of downtowna and has a great menu ! The prime rib is off the charts and their chowdah is what you expect in Massachusetts. Stop in and then walk the waterfront for a great night out. Dont miss this place.

Overall
Won't be returning.

For a completely underwhelming dining experience, you'll love this place.

The first warning sign was the complete lack of clean dishware and utensils. I ordered a glass of wine from an unimpressive wine list. It arrived in a stemmed glass that appeared never to have seen the inside of a dishwasher.

When the wilted Caesar's side salad was delivered, I picked up the silverware which had probably been through the same sorry cleaning process as the glass. They didn't even feel clean to the touch.

I had ordered grilled salmon for my entre thinking I was playing to their strong suit. Seafood is supposed to be the specialty. It arrived atop a piece of cedar wood on the plate accompanied by string beans and rice pilaf.

I guess you're supposed to be bowled over by the presentation, but when I cut into it and discovered that it was raw at its center, you know what they could have done with their piece of siding. When I want sushi, I go to Japanese establishments.

The rice was as dry as having been heated in a microwave by a novice.

The green beans were good.

I also had tried their "#1 best selling" chowder. It was of a thin cosistency with a flavor that might fare well in a contest with the local high school cafeteria.

The service was good.

I would suggest that unless you've got an unwavering hankering for green beans, spend your money elsewhere.
