Why Choose Us? Progressive Home Care is a fully (family owned and operated) home care agency, which means we offer a more personal touch for clients and their loved ones. Clients like our services and the fact that they can call our owners. We love knowing that our clients are cared for in the right way, which is why we’ve set up a 24-hour hotline that allows you to speak to a live person. Our program serves those with physical or cognitive deficits, as well as those looking for a safe, secure environment that provides socialization and stimulation within their home or facility. We Work Within Your Budget Funding sources that assist participants include several county programs, such as JACC and CAP, as well as funding from the New Jersey State Department of Health. Our geriatrics case manager will assist you with all funding options. However, some long-term care insurance policies do provide coverage. Our application procedure includes a nurse assessment in the home or in a facility. We structure services to work within your budget. We We Provide the Best Care Givers and Nurses and Licensed Physical Therapists Our LPNs, RNs, and CHHA’s are meticulously screened through criminal background checks, reference checks and physical examinations. Each staff member also goes through in-service training conducted by the staff nurse once a month. We have instituted a computerized phone log-in and log-out system, to ensure staff has arrived on time, and to reduce tardiness as well as no-shows. Progressive Home Care is a private home care agency which was established in August 2006 to serve the geriatric population of all Northern New Jersey and some part of New York. Although Progressive Home Care is still a relatively new company its founders, Danny L. Smith II & Kerri L. Smith, have well over 30 years of experience in the home care business. In addition to having experience within the field of home care, both Kerri & Danny have business degrees which are extremely helpful to have when operating a business, regardless of one’s expertise.
