GG African Hair Braiding

I came in for braids after removing a sew in and growing out my hair from short cut styles. She decided to do it and I expected expertise braiding since shop been open for years with decent reviews. I usually get charged $100 from Lady Bs. I should of went there. She did the braids and parts were disporportioned. Big in the back and middle and small in the front so I can’t leave my hair down since the parts looks funny. She also didn’t do near boxes which the hairs are being pulled with extreme tension which eventually cause breakage and damage to my scalp. She charged $159 and 10% of the braids were my hair the other 90% was simply braiding weave so I paid 150 w $10 tip... for braiding weave basically. Two weeks in, the back two rows of braids all fell out and I went right back to her. Trust me they would have fell out sooner but I had to be EXTREMELY sensitive with my hair making the braids from low maintenance to high maintenance. And way the back was redone ... approximately 10 braids and guess how much she charged... 40 bucks.. then wasn’t going to even disclose a $2 charge for square up... Ibasically she claims this work she did is 200 worth... the entire back fell out again two weeks late.. making it only one month in and already fixing the braids twice. Umm she doesn’t have skills to braid short hair. There a certain way to start the grid when dealing with short hair and she doesn’t have it so I cannot say she is a skilled braider. Just go to Braids R’Us in maple wood. They have excellent service and if it’s too tight they let up and the braids remained. Braids R’Us fixed her garbage work. So I highly recommend braids r is and leave Gigi to her usuals.... I’ll never go back. Thanks
