Established in 1989, Covenant House New Jersey is one of the largest providers of services for homeless and at-risk youths. It offers a range of food, shelter, clothing, crisis care, counseling and drug abuse treatment services. The organization administers various outreach, legal, transitional living and health care programs. Covenant House New Jersey provides a program for mothers and children that includes residential care for pregnant and parenting young women. It also offers services for youths affected with neglect, abuse, and physical and mental ailments through its health care program. Additionally, the organization conducts the World of Work program, which features a variety of educational and vocational services. Covenant House New Jersey is a part of Covenant House, which is a nonprofit agency that provides various services for homeless and runaway youths.
