I love and recommend this practice to everyone I can!! Yes, they may be difficult to get hold of sometimes, but most doctor offices are. They may also be hard to get an appointment with sometimes, but where else are you going to find a doctor office open so late and on Saturday? Appointments are difficult to come by because this is a great practice and they have a lot of patients!!

Today my three year old was sick and I called twice, and both times the office answered and were so very helpful!! The second time they said there were no open slots, but asked how long it would take for me to get there and said if anyone cancelled they would call and let me know. I did not get a call by 5 when they closed and figured no one cancelled, if he got worse I would just take him to the ED. However, around 7 Dr. Yee, called and said they had not been able to see the message until then and said bring my son on in. He saw Dr. Luong, who he has seen on and off since he was born, and she was so great with him.

As far as my experiences as a patient, I am a proud patient of Anthony Lagana!! I tell everyone he may be an ARNP, but he is without a doubt the best doctor I have ever seen!! He will sit there and talk to you, really listening as you speak to him, and you can tell he genuinely cares.

Basically, my whole family has nothing but great things to say about Volusia Medical Center!! Major kudos to them, the practitioners, the office staff, everyone there, thank you for all you do!!

So pleased with all the staff at Volusia Medical Center. The phones were a little difficult for a while but they have hired additional staff and really seemed to have solved that issue.

From the nurse practitioner I seen to the front desk, everyone was so caring. Office staff helped me with my insurance issue and called to check on me the next week. Such a sweet group.

We interviewed Dr Luong while pregnant with our daughter and appreciated the respect we were given for our choices of natural home birth, no vaccines, breastfeeding, and hands off medical approach. Dr Luong is very well educated in all areas of medicine. She does the doctoring for you rather than asking you to play doctor with the famous question "well what do you think we should do". We have seen her for 9 years and wouldn't be able to trust another doctor to meet our family needs. Although we rarely go to the doctor, knowing her office is open late and on Saturdays gives us the peace of mind that our immediate needs can be met. Danielle is the office rockstar and we appreciate her attention to detail and care in handling our family needs. I thank Jessica too for her assistance in meeting our family's needs.

I have been calling for an appointment for over a week. They never answer the phone. It rings and rings then tells you to leave a message. I have left numerous messages. No one has called me back. I have to say I’ve always liked and trusted the nurse practitioner. But I wonder if he knows his staff never answers the phone nor do they return phone calls. Practice staff has gone down hill in the 5 years I’ve been there. M.Drumm

I like all of the STAFF. I find them to be professional. They have been the best pcp thar i have. Been to in north Florida.
When i was in south Florida i had a great pcp iwas with 17 years.. i miss her very much.

Our family of two children, mom and dad have been cared for by the owners and their physicians at Volusia Medical Center. Our children now ages 12 and 7 have grow up receiving the best medical care and loving attention possible. Honestly they are the best family doctors we have ever had. They truly do care for their patients and every time we needed to see a specialist they never hesitate to direct us to the right person! We always feel welcome and are blessed to know and be a part of their family medical practice for many years!! I highly recommend.

I give this doctor office a very poor rating. Staff members are unprofessional and do not care about their clients. My kids no longer come here.

When you complain about not receiving your prescriptions at time of service or when they said it would be ready at a certain time and it is not, they will drop you as a patient. Seems like a bill or rights for patients violation. YOU are allowed to complain with out being dropped. NSB location

Avoid their new Daytona beach location. You won't be sorry you did.
