Peticures

Dogs stayed one night. I picked them up and they both smelled like cigarette smoke. When we got home, they both ran to the water bowl and started drinking as if they hadn't drank all day. Never again.

Took my dogs there for an overnight stay. They came home and I could not let them into my house. They reeked of cigarette smoke. It was so pungent I could barely drive them home. As soon as my kids ran up to them when I got home, they yelled "Ew!! What's that smell??" I was tired already and was not expecting to have to bathe two dogs immediately.

Took my dog to them (2nd time ever - and last time) to be bathed, nails clipped. She had gotten into and eaten grease from my grill. This made her sick and gave her diarrhea. She had gotten it in her fur, so I cleaned her AND gave her a fur cut, brush out. She still smelled really badly so I made an appointment with Peticures.



This is an all day event because after they wash them, they sit your pet infront of a square floor fan to dry. They only accept cash or checks. When I arrived to pick her up, she was let outside. I asked how much, he said "$30". I gave him $40. We got home and as she started to come inside I could smell how bad her odor was. It was reminiscent of cigarettes, old wet wall paint and old vomit. I smelled her coat and there was no smell whatsoever of a shampoo, her coat had a filmy feeling to it and when I used a wet baby wipe over her back (not belly) it was filthy.



I called the place as soon as this happened and I said that I didn't want to complain, but she smelled. She asked if I was implying that they hadn't given her a bath, because they had in fact worked very hard on her today. I said, "no I'm not saying that you did or did not, but she smelled pretty much the same. AND, I had been there before, she came back smelling like Lavender. I know my pet, She's an indoor pet and she was not cleaned with proper dog grooming shampoo this time. I don't know what was used and i dont think that the woman that i spoke with did either, but she wasn't clean smelling.



At this point she said 'she didn't know what to tell me but other than that, did I want to bring her back and have them do it over.'

Uh. You had her from 9:45am to 5:00 PM and you didn't clean her or make her smell any better. I asked her what she used different and she claimed 'it was some coconut scent or something she claimed it could be her breath if she'd been sick (no - this was over with three days ago) she then said that she could have been licking her fur and made it stink (uh no).



I say take the money that I paid you and go buy real dog shampoo instead of .99 Suave.



Lady, You had horrible customer service and will never get my business or pet there again.
