We specialize in careful tree removal... without damage to surrounding plantings or structures. We, at Tree Sculpture, love trees. Unless a tree is truly hazardous, we urge our clients to consider alternatives to removal.
Corrective Pruning and Selective Thinning of mature trees makes for safer trees. It requires a skilled arborist climbing out into the clumps of foliage at the end of each branch to remove deadwood, diseased tissue, crossing branches and make selected thinning cuts to reduce endweight. Making more numerous smaller cuts is preferable to making a few large cuts to reduce an equal amount of weight. Climbing “out to the tip†and performing proper pruning in a manner which retains natural branch balance takes skill and time.
Tree Fertilization
Deep Root Fertilization can significantly improve tree health and vigor AFTER tree / soil deficiencies have been identified through proper testing.
Tree Maintenance
Populations of trees require a special approach. At TREE SCULPTURE, we partner with each client to develop a customized multi-year, prioritized tree care program tailored to fit your budget. All trees require adequate access to light and water, clear exposed root crowns and open fertile soil in order to thrive. Tree populations at Homeowners’ Associations, Business Parks and Municipalities call for unique attention.
Tree Cabling and Bracing
Cabling and bracing, performed properly, can compensate for structural defects in tree conformation... such as trees with multiple trunks and acute angles of attachment.Â

In 1989, we were approached by the managers of two separate commercial associations where we cared for the trees. Each encouraged us consider going into the landscape maintenance business and promised that if we agreed to start a landscape division, we could have their contract within sixty days. They were true to their word and we quickly found ourselves in the (then) unique position of providing a full spectrum comprehensive landscape service.Â
