The Bright Red Door Salon and Spa

I read the previous review about Kelly. I had to respond. Kelly has been my stylist for years. I find her to be a very gifted and talented artist in hair design and color. She is always careful in evey area, offering tips and instruction if needed after my appointment. This sounds like this person has never even been to Kelly and may possibly have a non-related grudge!

Well, I went in to see Kelly. A friend of hers came in to get her hair done and once she did, I was nonexistent. She didn't even have a timer when she got me ready to process. If I had not had my cellphone, I'd never been checked. Then she put me under the dryer and left me for 45 min. I'm thinking she burned my hair because the haircut I wanted was not the haircut I asked at all. I had very blunt cuts like she just grabbed and chopped. Now I have extremely long hair with an extremely short layer that doesn't match up to the rest. I also found where she was adding color, if you lift up my hair, it's blonde on the end and top, then in the middle strip it is dark brown. Some of my tips of my hair are dark, and the top all the way to about one inch is dark. I will never be back $140 salon should be good, She should also atleast make it seem like she's actually timing you! Gees!

I moved here from out of town and was referred her by a friend. Made an appointment. Then day before appointment went to look up directions and a negative review and almost canceled. I'm so glad I didn't. Loved the salon and people there. Very nice and they did great work. Very pleased. Very relaxing atmosphere.

If they would allow it I wouldn't even give this business a star. I had the worst customer service you could imagine. The owner was even rude to me. I was referred by a friend and had my hair done on Monday. Let's just say when I asked for a cut and color I should have been extremely specific. The color is completely off and the lady cut my bangs way too short. It took over three hours because she was on the phone the entire time.



My best friend had an appointment and just canceled because she saw my hair. I have another appointment across town to try and fix this mess.



Save yourself time and money and go to another salon.

I tried this salon out of desperation, unhappy with the ones I had tried in Shreveport so far, and was very pleased with the level of expertise I found here.
