General Info

Frank Seckler is best known for his unique metal art. He has concentrated on developing striking patinas and motifs resulting in a style that is functional and durable as well as beautiful. Frank initially attended the Rhode Island School of Design before finishing his degree in fine art at Lewis and Clark College. His schooling provided a solid foundation in printmaking and painting which has been a major influence in his patina development. After apprenticing with several well-known artists and sculptors during his summers, he opened Seckler Studio in 1989. Frank's work is well noted for its craftsmanship, metal finishes, and distinctive symbols based on Southwest petroglyph and South American primitive figures along with other designs.
