Hi everyone,

In July I booked Presidential Limousines to be the transportation between the hotel and the Vineyard for the night of my wedding. I called and gave my debit card # so they could take a deposit of $200. The next day, July 30th, I checked my account and realized that they took the entire amount for over $700 WITHOUT my authorization. This was a big inconvenience. Regardless, at the time I just wanted them to refund me everything except the 200$ (the deposit). Well that took forever. I was given the run around. I was constantly told that they had already put it through. One day I was told to come pick up the money in Floral Park. When I got there Anthony, the owner, was not there. “Sorry” is all they could say. I was told that a driver would be at my house by the end of the day with the 520$. THEY NEVER CAME.

So I decided that I would not use their company and was told by Anthony that the feeling was mutual and he did not want to deal with me as well. Have you ever been turned away from a business????

Day after day I was told that the transaction was complete and it should be in my account in a day or so. Now that I look back I can’t believe that I actually believed that it would be refunded. Anthony said to my husband that he didn’t realize we were so hard up for the money. Being that the money is ours why shouldn’t we be?

On August 13 (two weeks later) I finally received a refund. Well actually we only received $520.

So here we are it’s Sept 16th, my wedding has come and went, they did not provide any service to me and I am still owed $200. Day after day I am still told that they keep putting the transaction through. I have been lied to, embarrassed and taken advantage of. They claim they have been in business for 30 years and they can’t use a debit card correctly. FUNNY THEY HAD NO PROBLEMS USING THE DEBIT CARD WHEN THEY TOOK TOO MUCH MONEY OUT OF MY ACCOUNT. Why would anyone want to deal with a company who has trouble using a debit card? And if you were a company for over 30 years wouldn’t you be embarrassed to admit that you don’t know how to run a debit card?

THIS IS IN RESPONSE TO THE complaint, THIS CLIENT BOOKED A LIMOUSINE BUS to transport 22 people to a long island winery, WHEN SHE BOOKED THE BUS she said it was a wedding. WE ASKED HER WHO IS DOING THE WEDDING? WHY NOT GO TO THE COMPANY YOU CONTRACTED YOUR LIMOUSINE WITH? WE FOUND THIS STRANGE ?WHY NOT KEEP EVERYTHING IN HOUSE ,,WE EVEN SAID TO THEM at that time.USE THERE BUS KEEP IT IN HOUSE AND also SAID THE OTHER COMPANY WAS ALSO A GOOD COMPANY,WE DID NOT LOOK TO TAKE THE WEDDING AWAY FROM THEM, WHY NOT HAVE HIM DO IT. HE HAS THE SAME LIMO BUS, EVERYTHING WAS GREAT THE PRICE WE GAVE , THE LIMO BUS, WE DID NOTHING WORNG. SHE GAVE US A CHARGE CARD over the phone (recorded) AND DID NOT SAY IT WAS A DEBIT, AS SHE STATED IN THE COM PLANT(RECORDED) . THE CARD GETS A PRE approval CODE AND HOLDS IT,tIll the day of the event and than IT batchES it locks up the amount of credit ,if its a debit it holds its ,it would make no since to do the job ,drive 300 miles and get DECLINED, you can pay cash or certified ck the day of the venue. she said she wants it on the card that's protocol THAT'S what we did. WE TOLD HER THAT AFTER SHE CALLED THE NEXT DAY, WE WOULD OF DONE A MANUAL TRANSACTION for 200, OTHER THAN A COMPUTER PRE approval,(recorded) IF WE KNEW IT WAS DEBIT CARD,I TOLD HER IT WILL TAKE A FEW DAYS TO COME OFF. A FEW DAYS LATER HER HUSBAND CALLS , HE WANTS CASH NOW. I WAS IN OUR FLORIDA OFFICE, THEY Came TO THE LONG ISLAND OFFICE AND DEMAND CASH BACK, THAT'S FINE BUT OUR MECHANIC AND CLEANING STAFF WAS IN THE GARAGE ,THEY ARE NOT WITH THE RESERVATION OFFICE, WHEN WE SAID WE WILL SEND A DRIVER WITH THE PRINT OUT OF THE RECEPT NOT CASH (RECORDED) WE DID, I SAID WE WILL CREDIT THE CARD . WE DID.IF I GAVE HIM the CASH and THE CHARGE that TAKES A FEW DAYS TO PROCESS and IT DID, the company WOULD of BEEN OUT THE MONEY, IF YOU GIVE CASH ,WE BE HAPPY TO GIVE BACK CASH, A CHARGE, WE CREDIT IT, YES IT TOOK TWO WEEKS TO POST. THAT'S FAST, ITS Regally 30 DAYS .ADVICE NEVER USE A DEBIT CARD ON RENTALS, WE ARE UNDER THE SAME GUIDE LINES AS A CAR RENTAL COMPANY. YOU CANT RENT A CAR FROM HERTZ WITH A DEBIT CARD, YES WE SAID IT WAS A BAD IDEA TO DO THIS JOB,WE ARE IN THE HOSPITALITY FIELD ,WE WANT PEOPLE TO BE HAPPY WE HAVE A RULE ,IF A DRIVER HAS PROBLEMS AT HOME OR IS IN A BAD MOOD DON'T COME TO WORK . ALSO IF OUR CLIENT DOES NO LIKE ONE OF OUR DRIVERS CALL US ,WE WILL REPLACE HIM ASAP ,IN THIS CASE WE SAID IT WAS A BAD IDEA TO DO THIS JOB (she said. your turning down the job that's unheard of she even states it in her complaint. ) SO WE GAVE BACK THE MONEY WITH OUT A FIGHT , $520.00 PLUS A LETTER TO THE CLIENT TO RELEASE THE $200. IT WAS FAXED AND E MAILED, WE DIDN'T GET THE $200 IT WAS A HOLD AND WE CALLED OUR SERVICE TO RELEASE IT PLUS GAVE THEM A FAX AND E MAIL,ALL OUR CALLS ARE RECORDED AND TRANSCRIBED IN OUR OFFICE SO WE CAN PLAY BACK ALL CONVERSATIONS TO CK ON THE ADDRESS, WHAT A CLIENT WANTS,TIME ETC IN THIS CASE WE ARE HAPPY WE HAVE US TALKING TO VISA AND THE CLIENT ON THE PHONES, we wish you well and it was for the best WE TURNED DOWN THE VENUE, also a famous client once said to me I cant tell you how to become rich , but I can tell you how to go broke,,,,,,,, try to please everyone you go broke,,, we try hard to please but some times you cant PRESIDENTIAL NEW YORK OFFICE 877 834 2210 PRESIDENTIALUSA.COM
