Mr. Brown's Services

Mr. Brown has a great work ethic and does a quality job. He is always on time, and is always responsive to phone calls. He takes efforts to be respectful of your home and your schedule. We had him redo our bathroom, install a ceiling fan, and repair damaged walls. He also is a fun guy to talk to. We will definitely use his services again in the future.

I recently had Mr. Brown rebuild the side steps. I had bought most of the material thinking I would be able to repair the steps but the job was just more than I could handle so I phoned Mr. Brown. He came out, explained what he could do to help and provided the time frame in which the job could be completed. He was very pleasant and the work was very well done. I would definately phone him again for other jobs. He was very professional and would recommend Mr. Brown's services to friends and family.

I had a different experience than most. Mr. Brown told me he would be done on Sat. around 12:30, well he finished (sort of) after 4 pm. He has this attitude that only he knows best. I asked him to touch up my kitchen walls. When the time came, he never asked me where to touch up and just assumed. Therefore he missed certain spots so now I have to complete the work I paid for (which wasn’t cheap). He also put a corner protector on for me without asking me where I wanted it and he also cracked it near one of the screws. Also I pointed out spots on the ceiling he repaired after replacing a light fixture that were dirty and he ignored that. He was about to leave me with a light fixture with only 3 of the 4 lights working. I had to prod him to try to put a good working bulb to test out the socket. With little tweaking he was able to get it to work. Then I noticed that damaged was done to my newly expensive transition piece between floors. I had covered most of my floors with cardboard only to find that scratches by him and his workers’ boots ruined my piece. I had covered it up several times that day. Also the machine he used to clean up the dust caused a 4 inch scratch across my laminate floor in the same area where the transition piece was. I told him that he scratched my transition piece (I didn’t notice the floor until after he left) and he just walked out of my house. I would never recommend him to anyone. I gave him a chance to do the right thing and do the work in which I was paying him for but he failed to. He left an expensive tool in my home which I called for him to pick up. If you want an attitude, an expensive bill, a lousy job, double the time he quoted, he is your man.

None of the normal hassles you expect when hiring a contractor. Mr. Brown always calls you back very quickly and it is easy to get a hold of him. I had a french drain installed in my basement I am very pleased with the results. He explained everything he was doing thoroughly and in terms I could understand. I even think he left my basement cleaner than when he first started! I am definitely going to hire Dewey again for future projects.

I called Mr. Brown Tuesday, he came over to see the jobs that needed to be done Thursday and completed them on Friday. His work is excellent and I have more jobs that I will definately have him work on. I'm also recommending him to my friends. And added plus is he's a really nice guy with a great personality! I highly recommend Mr Brown. I have had him do considerable work on both my Moorestown home our home in Cinnaminson. He remodeled our downstairs recreation room and rebuilt our back multilevel deck. In Cinnaminson he remodeled our 1950's bath and kitchen as well as built a three season room on an unusable back patio. All work was done very well with constant attention to our needs. He is reliable and trustworthy and he has my every confidence in his work and professionalism.

My wife and I asked Mr. Brown to help us with several projects on our house. These included waterproofing our basement, repairing and painting the walls and ceiling in a bedroom and replacing several windows. He also replaced door locks and did some plumbing repairs. Everything was done in a thorough and extremely meticulous fashion. The end result in all cases was superb. Mr. Brown is very experienced, extremely skillful and highly qualified. He will be working on another project for us in the near future.

The Work done for us was not a simple task. He had to replace a lot of damaged wood, most of which couldn't be seen until walls were opened. He was prompt and thourough. Level of skill is exceptional. Mr. Brown will be doing more work for us in the future.
