Overall

My 16 year old was having trouble with her knees and it was keeping her out of lacrosse practice. The therapist worked with her to keep her playing even while she was in therapy. Very happy with the quick progress she made in their capable hands.

This place is a scam. There isnt one athlete in the entire place and non of them know what they are doing. Their equipment is all crap and oh ya make sure to check your billing. With their gorilla math you will end up owing them 1k after they told you your insurance covered your visits. Complete dump go to an Ortho that has physical therapy, at least its coming from people that were actually hired by an MD. Healthquest is a no stars. DO NOT GO THERE.

HQPT rocks, the entire staff ...

HQPT rocks, the entire staff rock and is always on top of there game. I have been treated by Heather and Scott for everything from dislocated ribs to knee issues. The staff is very professional and works very had to get you back on top of your game. I've sent all of my friends and family there for treatment, and no complaints.

Bottom line. If your hurt and need rehab. Go there.

And DoctorL , its Rehab, not a Spa, the massages are not meant to be relaxing. They are done to aid in healing. No pain. No Gain.

This place was second to none....

This place was second to none. I've been to a few other clinics but none I felt completely comfortable with and none that compared to this one. I'm a professional athlete and I rely on my body to be in the utmost physical tip top shape. They evaluated my situation (recent injuries), devised a treatment plan and did a great job in every step of the way. Heather was awesome!!

I would have absolutely no trouble at all referring my friends and family to this office (which I have already).

I have never had a better expe...

I have never had a better experience with Physical Therapy than the one I recently had at HealthQuest in Rochester. The moment I walked in the door I felt secure in the knowledge of the staff. Heather treated me for quite some time and she worked miracles on me. I'm back to doing the things I love pain free. Heather listened carefully to my input along the way and of course advised me to take an active part in my therapy by doing the at home work. She knows what she is doing and it clearly shows in the results achieved. If you need physical therapy be sure to go to Health Quest in Rochester and request Heather, you will not be disappointed. She is a Miracle Worker in my eyes.

I have been an athlete my whol...

I have been an athlete my whole life and therefore I have had injuries and surgeries. I was referred to Health Quest Physical Therapy after my rotor cuff surgery and Heather has been my physical therapist. I had a bad rotor cuff injury with two tears, a detached bicep ligament and torn Labrum (which required a sling and not raising my arm for a month). Heather was able strengthen my shoulder and provide full range of motion. I currently have one of the strongest throwing arms on my softball team.

I also had a complete tear of my ACL. After Heather’s excellent therapy I was back golfing in five weeks. When I returned to my doctor six weeks after the surgery he stated “my leg was better and stronger than the high school athletes he sees after the same procedure”. I tore my Achilles tendon attachment into my calf and was back preforming all my activities in three weeks.

Heather treats you like a family member, going out of her way to provide you with the best therapy possible. I pulled my hamstring the week before the Susan G Komen 60 mile walk last year and Heather worked with me on her own time to get me through the 60 mile walk.

I have referred numerous people to Health Quest and have only received positive feedback and many thanks for the great physical therapy they received. If you need physical therapy go to Health Quest in Rochester Hills and ask for Heather and you will be praising her too.

Worst Physical Therapy Place. ...

Worst Physical Therapy Place. I was first seen and evaluated by an intern, not a physical therapist. ! During my first full session, the therapist, Heather, gave me a harsh massage and manual therapy even though I told her to go easy. I had terrible pain in the next few days. In the second session, she continued the same excersises despite of my complain. She was busy talking about golfing plan with her co-workers while she was treating me !!

I strongly disgree with the prior review here. This place is bad !! My advise: Stay Away !

Updated 9/4/2011: Since my original post on 8/14/2011, there were all of a sudden four additional posts written within 8/24-8/26/2011 praising Heather (considering there were only one post back in 2009). I found this is odd and suspected. In partcular, the review by SkiBum79 contains personal attacks : " and DoctorL, its rehab, not a spa, --- no pain, no gain" . I suspect this review may have been written by one of the Heathquest Rochester employee . I have filed an abuse report on this review and have requested to check into this anuthor's identification.

SkiBum79, Do you mean to say: " Its Rehab, massages are meant to painful. They are done alone to aid healing. You must have pain first. This is Heatlquest Rochester "

I stand by my story , my complain and my negative opinion about HealthQuest Rochester and Heather in my original post. I will write a formal letter of complain to HealthQuest demanding full explanation of the poor treatment before I pursure futher possible actions. Its a matter of pricinples.

Great place

I have been to a number of physical therapy clinics and Health Quest has surpassed all of them. They care for you like you are family and individualize each persons recovery plan. Everyone from the receptionists and aides to the Therapists are always positive, encouraging, professional, genuinely care about their patients and are always looking for ways to improve your life.
