Front End Shop

Careless work done by this place a few months ago. They were going to install an incorrect part that I HAD TO SOURCE AND SUPPLY THEM. When I received my car IT WAS IN WORSE CONDITION THAN WHEN I HAD LEFT IT! My car was returned with scratches on the front bumper, in addition the front fascia has a new quarter size gall in my paint. The cruise control and HVAC systems no longer worked, and 4 new ECM check engine codes. The distributor plug was disconnected and stuffed behind the engine. Cruise control vac port was installed backwards, the disconnected Vac lines were laying next to it from the opposite side. HVAC system also had lines disconnected. Vac line diagram is on the fan shroud sticker, cell phones take great pictures these days.. A carburetor mounting bolt was also missing causing a new intake leak. Otherwise the rest of the work was ok. The tow was reasonable and the tow guy was nice and helped me move the car for that i give one star.

Tip of the day, rip off artists, front end shop in farmingdale NJ, is a joke took my honda in for allighnment $89.99 car pulls to the right, go back they tell me it's off on the drivers side needs to be shimmed, another alignment and shims $266.20 plus 40 bucks to rotate tires, go back a third time for a noise in front passenger side that was not there before, they tell me upper control arm is bad needs to be replaced, here we go again $211.60, and I supplied the part, Two dings later and noise still there. Not very happy. they Had my car for days. They suck at what they do but they are good at sucking money out of your pocket. And as for them shimming the front end, they never did it just got my car back from another front end shop they fixed the noise and checked to see if it was shimmed. THEY ARE LIARS!, And the guy Jay at the counter will look you dead in the face and tell you the car needs to be aligned after the upper control arm is put in, took his word for it, did a little checking and does not need to be done. Oh and they charge people $90.00 to change the cabin air filter, the cost of filter is $12.00 bucks and takes 10 minutes to do. DONT WASTE YOUR MONEY GOING THERE.
