I am only giving them 1 star because you cannot give zero stars. The service was recommended by a friend who found them online. I don't have that much money, but I felt like it was a safe bet to spend $160 with them to find a better job. One reason in particular I felt I could trust them was their guarantee that you get a call back within 30 days or your money back.



This was the worst experience. I received my resume and it was very promising. However, after applying for 36 jobs in the first four weeks I had yet to have any email responses, let alone a phone call. I emailed the company asking about the guarantee after 5 weeks. I received a response fairly quickly asking a bunch of questions about what time I applied for the jobs, etc. Shortly after that I received a phone call from the women who wrote my resume itself. She was crying, saying that the company was refusing to pay her for the last few resumes she worked on. It was incredibly awkward. I then emailed the company to inform them what happened. All they could offer was "please contact your local Police Department and report her." Then, they provided me the terms for the guarantee. "In order to qualify for a refund, you must submit your resume 15-20 times a day, 5 days a week, for 30 days after receiving your completed resume and provide proof that you have done so. Getting called in for interviews is a numbers game." In other words, they don't care if the job you are called back for is a job you are actually looking for. There do not exist 300 job openings for the position I do. Their suggested fix was to apply for jobs within 24 hours of their posting and between the hours of 4am and 7am.



Furthermore! They asked about my cover letter, and I submitted to them a copy of my friend's cover letter that I have been using. The response to that was "The Cover Letter has numerous typos/errors and is not Search Engine Optimized (SEO)". What they did not know was the letter I copied was from *their* company that my friend paid to have done.



I would *NEVER* recommend this service to anyone as it was a colossal waste of time and essentially a scam.
