We are extremely impressed by the repairs Darius made to our house and the fencing you installed a few years ago. His solid craftsmanship is unmatched. It is apparent that he enjoys his work, always striving for perfection. We also appreciate the detail in his estimates, honest advice, and ongoing communication during the course of a project. We hope to involve Darius in future projects.

I highly recommend Darius Construction. I have asked Darius to come back and do several jobs for me including repair of dry rot, installation of gutter guards, installing plumbing, dry wall repair work. He is very dependable and always calls back and shows up when he says he will. he does outstanding work probably because he is very meticulous and careful and will keep working on a project until it meets his high standards. He has a very friendly personality and it's always a pleasure to work with him.

Darius recently completed a 3-week job for us involving woodwork restoration and gutter work. The results were much better than our expectations, based on experiences with other contractors we have used over the decades. We enthusiastically recommend him to anyone contemplating construction work, restoration or new. He provided a very detailed written (and reasonably priced) estimate and followed it completely. He is clearly skilled in many facets of construction and quite a perfectionist, one we would describe as fitting the model of a good and proud craftsman. He does not stop until he is fully satisfied with his work. He does not rush in order to get to the next job, nor does he overlap with other jobs. Darius is obviously in demand; we had to wait more than two months, but the wait was well worth it. He spent hours answering other questions we had on our house, without extra charge, and we are sure we will use him again.

Darius Construction does the best work. I have recommended Darius to several friends who have also found the work superior. I have had large projects and small, all were given full attention. It is unusual to find someone who has the exact tool needed for the most obscure job. No corners cut, full on quality work. I'm always looking for more projects since I know I will have the best results.

Darius is extremely reliable, skilled, and meticulous. I feel so lucky to have found him via a referral from a good friend. Not only does he perform first-class work on even the smallest of jobs, he also passes along tips and helpful hints to the customer. He is often in high demand, but he always gives a very reasonable estimate for when he will be available and he returns calls promptly. I would trust Darius with any job, large or small, because he is so careful and capable. I have no complaints whatsoever and only the highest of praises for Darius Construction. It's a first-rate company!

In response to the person who commented that Darius didn't have enough time to come bid on his job I have this to say.... this is one of the reasons we enjoy working with Darius. His policy is to not take on more work than he can handle. Darius doesn't start one job until another is either done or very near completion. We have used Darius for large and small jobs and have been completely thrilled with the quality of his work. He is excellent about communicating and solving any unforeseen problems that come up while he's on the job. When I need work done I would rather wait for Darius to have the time, then hire someone else!

From the renovation of an existing bathroom in the previous year to the reconstruction of one whole side of our house from the foundation up this past year, Darius’s work on our house in Davis has been exemplary. Because we want to match the architecture of our existing Streng home with new energy-efficient doors, windows, and transoms as well as earthquake reinforcement, the reconstruction work was extraordinarily difficult. Instead of simply altering the profile of the existing to accommodate the contemporary components, Darius patiently obtained complicated measurements and worked with us to design complex framing, flashing, and trim details, the result of which is an energy-efficient house that far exceeded the State’s Title 24 requirements, but which nevertheless reflect the delicate sensibilities of the original. Darius worked with us and the designers to understand and satisfy our particular requirements. He did not impose on us a mass-production mentality, but approached his work with analytical intelligence, sensitivity to details, and attention to craftsmanship. His new work around an existing structure that exhibits 40 years of wear and settlement is meticulous and skillful. He is responsible and trustworthy. His presented us with a very detailed estimate, and let us know whenever and before any work or changes would result in an increase to our costs. He had a clear sense of each party’s responsibilities in the project. He would not over-commit or overreach just for the sake of increasing his business.

I needed an estimate on a couple of projects around my house and thought i would try mr. darius.I called him and he apparently had no time for me. H daid he would be bisy for several months.I don't know about you but when have a project i want done, i would like to knowwhat the costs will be ahead if time so i can budget. I think he could have affforded me a few minutes to give me an idea of the costs so i could plan. Won't use him now.
