        This is the Lifeline department for Cox. Unfortunately the fax number for this department doens't acknowledge fax applications, although the applicant indicates this is how you can apply. I tried to call Cox to inquire as to the status of my elderly relative's application but NO ONE at Cox has the phone number or any information about the status of the application. After on this of faxing I finally snail mailed the application and without any notice it was approved. Cox is disorganized, lacks the business sense to properly notify or acknowledge. As a result, my elderly relative lost out on several months of a discount she was entitled to. I am renting Cox to the Dept. of Edlderly Affairs, RI Public Utilites and the RI Attorney General's Office. Perhaps business regulations should also be notified.
