Broward Taxi

Poor customer service overall. Keep in mind they have several numbers; 954-777-7777 is one of the others. First ride cost me 16.60 and I paid with my credit card no problem. Second ride from the same location home was nearly HALF the price and there was no traffic either time! The second driver was very upset that I was going to pay with credit card, "Why didn't you tell me you were gonna pay wif credit card?" he asked me, "Because you have the machine that says you accept it!" I replied" The machine gave me an approval code and he also manually processed my card. I will be watching to see if I got charged twice; ;over all poor customer service and b!tchy attitudes make it not a company worth riding with.

Traveled approximately 6 miles in a Broward Taxi from the Fort Lauderdale/Hollywood International Airport on Tuesday, March 2,2010.(approx 2:05pm). The driver demamded $22.00 when the meter read $18.90.He said that there is an automatic $2.00 charge from the Airport.What also bothered me was to watch the meter register cost while stopped at several traffic lights.! A trip of 12 miles in this case, would expect to run about $40.00 or more depending on traffic lights an/or traffic issues. At this rate,I could fly the same distance cheaper.........No Broward taxi for me again.!
