Tree Removal and Planting

Tree Removal
Tree removals are done in a professional manner. For some trees we use our long reach, heavy lift bucket truck to assist with taller trees in dangerous, complex situations. On some jobs we are unable to get a bucket lift truck to the tree, so we use a tree climbing crew using what is called “rope and saddle” which covers removing trees without mechanical assistance. Tree work is difficult, but once you learn the process it becomes a common experience.

On our tree pruning and tree removal operations, the owner is present on job site and does not delegate this important process to others.

In about 1966, as a background learning process, I was searching for information in state and out of state university tree research departments. I made a request asking for all their information on tree care, health issues and general information. A short time later I received two large boxes of material, shocked to receive such volume, and assumed some intern just unloaded all their research on me.

I am an ISA Certified Arborist, we have Commercial Liability Insurance, are Bonded, have Workers’ Compensation insurance and are accredited BBB members. We give you a copy of all our insurance certificates when we give you a consultation. The workers comp. premium is determined by annual payroll of the total tree crew. If someone in a tree crew does not have a S.S number and is paid in cash, the entire crew will not be covered by Workers Comp. This usually happens with migrant laborers. If an injury or death should occur they would then void the Workers Comp. contract for fraud as the correct premium, which includes all the employees pay, was not paid. The property owner is usually then responsible for financial cost of injuries and medical treatment, including disability or death.
