Accurate Towing and Storage Inc

The absolute WORST customer service EVER. Not only that but they over charged us per FAIRFAX COUNTY CODE 82-5-37. THey can only charge $125 for a tow. I had called Fairfax County Government to find out about any regulations regarding tow away signs and found this information out from somebody in the Regulations and Licensing Department. When I told these rude people that they could not charge me that they gave me every reason why they could charge me that, none where legit and I was warned by the Fairfax County that they would tell me just those things. I am going to file a formal complaint with the county and then with the Better Business Bureau. They are also supposed to have change available which they do not. We had to leave and go down the street to get change for a $20 from a gas station. They only deal in cash so one would assume that they would have change for a $20. I do know that as of October 15 2008 (maybe now as well) they will HAVE to have change in their office for up to $100, again this will be enforced by the county.



When we asked for directions from the office, and I'm going to assume that its the same rude staff memeber as mentioned by another poster, the lady gave HUGE attitude. RUDE RUDE RUDE! In addition they are slimy, sneaky, sketchy people that I hope to NEVER EVER have to do business with again.



I too would give negative stars to this company. I also urge anyone who has had a similar encounter to contact the BBB and the County.

Wow were we in a pinch, our car had broken dowm and with in 10mins a knight in shining armor had arrived to save us...i have never been so pleased with the service. The customer service was great and the rates we very decent. Thank you Accurate Towing

My boyfriend's car got towed this weekend. When he called the company to find out if his car had been towed, the representative that answered the phone was unprofessional, rude, and sarcastic. When I called back to get the address of the company, I got the same unprofessional tone from the representative.



Upon showing up at the tow company to claim his car, the area was dark as the company has no outside lighting. A man came up to us and said that he would take our money. Not feeling comfortable giving our money to a man sitting in a running car with the engine revving, we asked if we could go into the office to pay. We were told "NO, you either give me the money here or you don't get your car back." Needless to say, these are not prime circumstances for making a business transaction. This atmosphere was threatening and very sketchy to say none-the-least.



Since we were denied access to the office upon leaving the tow company, I called the representative who we spoke with earlier on the phone to let her know that her tone of voice was far from professional and she might want to think about that. She was shocked that we were forced to do business with her co-worker sitting in his running car. During our conversation, the representative did not accept criticism well and once again gave me attitude, so I hung up on her.



Upon hanging up on the representative, I received 2 phone calls from a restricted number. I was now being HARASSED by the employees of the tow company. I thought that the employees of the company were unprofessional before, all of my thoughts were now confirmed.



So, if you enjoy being treated with disrespect, being talking to by someone with a rude and sarcastic tone of voice, dealing with exchanging money in the dark with a man in a running car and then being harassed once you leave, then this is the company for you. If this that is the service that you are not looking for then I would suggest that you call any other tow company in Northern Virginia, Maryland, North Carolina, ANYWHERE ELSE BUT ACCURATE TOWING. This is the WORST customer service that I have EVER experienced.



Oh, and I gave this company only one star because I could not give negative stars!
