General Info

Environmental Field Office is a part of the Department of Environment and Conservation and is located in Nashville, Tenn. It has various divisions, such as air, water, land, permits and online services. Its air division offers services in the areas of air pollution control, energy conservation, radiological health and reduction of radon in buildings. It also provides regulation information regarding permits on construction, operations, air pollutant removal, and notification of asbestos demolition and removal. The water division of the office offers specialized services, including ground water protection, and water supply and pollution control. It additionally offers protecting of human health and environment. The water division assists by providing future petroleum underground storage tank releases and remediating existing petroleum underground storage tank contamination.
