A-1 Hardwood Floors

I called on A-1 Hardwood Floors for a quote for new construction. The owner, Charles Elrod was recommended by a friend. I had to postpone the work, but was planning to hire them.

Make appt to get estimate the person didnt show or call to cancel. Even though he was told I was not home till after 4pm he keep trying to be in before 4pm. When he finally called to re arrange the excuse he gave for not showing previously was that his wife fell, broke an arm and got a cast put in and that he was helping her with stuff around the house like cooking. The new appt day he showed up in time but I noticed a car in front of my house with a female on driver side parked, when I asked if that person was with him, his response was "thats my wife", she was driving and there was not cast on her arm. The following day I got a called from his number, he of course dialed by mistake cause he was asking for Barbara. I did recognized his number and after I identifed myself he proceed to say oh sorry but since I have you in the line I'm not doing your floor but thank you for calling me. Lesson to learn NEVER LIED TO A CUSTOMER especially when they are the one wrting reviews like this one. Business grow from the word of mouth and they get destroy the same way!!!!
