        Pane e Vino, a really bad experience

        The worse Italian meal we have ever had. My daughter ordered the gnocci which were so overcooked they looked like lumpy mashed potatoes. The sauce looked and tasted like someone opened a can of Campbell's Tomato Soup. My friend ordered the chicken cacciatore and said the chicken was overcooked and tasteless. We are local people who like to experience different restaurants in our area. Generally speaking, this was a really bad experience and one we will not repeat. I would like to add another oddity. This restaurant has a white board OUTSIDE the restaurant with all the specials posted, but does not have anything with the specials (white board or printed) inside. So, either you have to ask the wait staff what the specials are or get up, go outside and read it and return to your table to order.
