I thought Jeff below here was just being sensitive at first because the guy is at times sarcastic. But I tried to buy an engine from him and was, like Jeff, just asking a few questions about the engine itself before I make the 70 mile drive. The employees there are serious a**holes. I also have the feeling they were lying. He claimed to have serviced one particular engine for its entire life, and when I asked him how old the impeller was, he didn't know. So I asked if there hadn't been any records kept on it since he serviced it, and all he did was get mad, defensive and hung up on me. Save yourself the time and trouble, these guys are bat sh*t crazy.

I called Mr. Darnell to inquire about a pontoon boat he had for sale. I inquired about the thickness of the pontoons and motor mount. He was rude and said that people look at the internet to much. I told him that I looked at other boats and the metal looked thicker. He asked what that measured. He said in the years doing business no one has asked about the thickness of the pontoon. Mr Darnell either does not understand specs on boats, how to determine quality of boats or he does and he new he was caught selling cheap boats. I also asked if a compression test had been done on the motor and he told me no he can just listen to a motor and tell if it's running right. This man is a fraud but if you do business with him you better do your own research.
