        Overall

        Wonderful, family oriented dinning. I was pleasantly surprised to know that there are two menus to order from , one being a more traditional menu and one that is your average menu Americans would expect. I have worked my way through both and each time I am pleased with the quality and freshness of our meals. Sit, eat, learn about a few new dishes , you'll love it too!

        The food is good but the customer service is horrible. I called in an order before 6 o'clock p.m. got there around 6:15 because lady that took my order said it would be ready in 20 minutes. People in order came in order for their food and left. I am still sitting there around 6:40 I asked the guy who was there where was my food. He said it is not ready. The lady who had originally took my order over the phone was in the back asking where was my food she said it was ready but the guy was in such a hurry he gave me a refund then he came out with my food and asked me did I want it I said yes but you're not returning my credit card. Bad customer service I will never eat there again.

        Welcome to Fortune House Chinese Restaurant located in Munster, Indiana. We offer Dine-In, Carry-out, and Delivery services. We are the only sit down family oriented dine-in Chinese restaurant here in Munster area. We use only the finest meats and freshest vegetables, which come fresh from the Chicago's Produce Market, find their way into our kitchen. Once there, they are cooked in pure soybean vegetable oil to bring out the true flavors of authentic Chinese cooking. Our extensive menu offers a wide selection of dishes ranging from TRADITIONAL to MODERN recipes, appealing to all tastes. You can also order off our Traditioal Chinese Menu for a more Asian Experience. Diners can request most entrees made spicy or non-spicy. We offer Delivery Service to Munster, Highland, Lansing, Hammond (south of P.D.), Dyer (North of 81th), and Schererville (West of Rt.41/Indianapolis Blvd). There is a $15 minimum order before tax and $3 delivery charge. Reservations 5 people or more are recommended.
