Wax Craig M DO

This office is a huge HIPPA violation. Unfortunately I had to go here for years due to insurance, but I know several people who have been to this office and all say the same things. He doesn't take his patients seriously. He makes inappropriate jokes and the nurses up front are constantly talking about other patients without being discreet. If you have family that go here too, there's no such thing as privacy.

I took my daughter to see Dr. "Quax" as we have come to call him, a few years back when we were new to the area. She developed a rash on her bikini area and stomach that didnt itch but was somewhat painful to the touch. He looked her over for several minutes before he concluded that she looked like she had been sexually abused and contracted what looked to him to be a case of herpes. He then turned to me and asked, very arrogantly, "Do you KNOW the people your daughter plays with?" I could have knocked him out cold, the little weasel! I immediately got my daughter dressed and after a shaky few minutes at home found ourselves another doctor. Turns out she has a mild allergic reaction to bacteria thats found in stagnant water in garden hoses early in the season! He is a conniving, arrogant little man who certainly must have bought his medical degree from some shady source. if you go here, beware!

He talked down to you always and seemed to discount others that had cared for you in the past. Poor choice of mine. I think the statement that fits is " A bank robber always thinks they are getting robbed". Goodbye Wax and your lame pictures you took and hung all over your walls. Enough about you! Try the patients for once.

He was making my 90 yr old grandmother go to different specialists for stomach issues she's had all her life. He then decided that he wasn't going to re-fill any of her medicines unless she wrote a letter releasing him of any responsibility in the event she gets any type of cancer. He also told my mother that my father was abusive when my father has never touched us. He told my mom to come into the office so they can "talk" about different treatments for her depression and he said he would charge her insurance for an office visit. He doesn't care aout his patients. All he wants is the money from the insurance companies. He will never get another dime from us.

Stay away from this guy. He started out sort of nice and his office staff are nice but on many issues that i had with the doctor(Wax)he was very ignorant, for instance, with one medication i was taking it was giving me very bad side effects and he refused to listen to any other medical ideas i spoke to him about. The side effects were unbearable and he told me basically, "I had to make sacrifices" nor would he even send me to see a specialist at the least because he said his "mental prowness was sufficient"! What arrogance. Luckily, after spending 25 minutes listening to one of his "personal" conversations in the office one day DURING an examination, i changed doctor's that week and couldn't be happier because there was other drugs that helped without all the side effects i was experiencing. A few of my friends were also patients with him and not suprisingly said the same sort of things about him. VERY unprofessional!
