Mt Vernon RV Park

Stayed 2 nights July 2013. Very clean and well kept. Managers are on top of things. The park was "full" but there was a motor home leaving soon after we pulled in and were able to take that site. As the site was "dry" we were given a very good rate, about half regular rate. Would stay again if in the neighborhood.

Management has changed since the last two reviews. i came here a first time Rv owner and Sandy and Charles were incredibly helpful and took the time to teach me how to hook up things, signed me up for Good Sams Club, directed to local business to fix some issues with my RV and where to get some things installed on my truck. Very helpful and very nice. The park is very clean and full of helpful people. Three washers and four dryers, free wifi and cable, showers, etc. They allow pets with some restrictions and there is a fenced area (tho small) for your dogs to go potty.

I would not recommend this place. They are constantly looking for any little thing. We checked in to stay for 3 months. Have been here for 5 days and already looking for another park, There are signs all in the laundry room telling you what not to do. We stay all over the United States and this is the only park we have been in that doesn't seem to care about its patrons. They make you feel like they are doing you a favor by letting you stay here.

This used to be a well managed park but they changed managers. If you like dirty laundry rooms and nasty notes posted everywhere by the manager, stay here. If you have pets, there is only a tiny fenced in dog kennel in the back of the office (and next to the manager's house). The manager watches everything you do and will kick you out on a moment's notice. The whole atmosphere of this park is sterile and creepy. The rules change constantly and unless you stay here overnight, don't stay long. The park is for sale and hopefully, they will get new management.
