Chastain Excavating was established in 1984 and has built a reputation of quality work. Once a customer has decided to work with us what they can expect is quality materials, communication, competitive prices and top quality work. We provide a full range of site work and septic system services for residential and commercial markets. Our team understands the importance of quality throughout the entire construction process while meeting or beating deadlines. Each member of our team is ARSC/OSHA certified to ensure a safe workplace.

Business History

Chastain Excavating is a family owned and operated business. I am a licensed excavating contractor and certified septic installer. I have a son that actually joined me in this business when he was old enough to go to work and I am very fortunate that he loves it as much as I do. My wife is the one who answers the phone and loves to talk to people. I started this business 32 years ago and have adapted and learned many things along the way. My grandfather was a well-known plumbing contractor. I just took equipment and went to another level underground. I loved helping him the way my son has. I do all types of residential and commercial work. What separates me from the rest in this field is that I do all my own work; I consult, design and install.
