I had some roof damage and needed it replaced. Call and John said he would be over in a couple of days to look at roof and give estimate. Had roof replaced and I must say they did a wonderful job and were very clean after themselves if not for the roof I would not known anyone was there. They even took down my satellite and remounted it. The gutters came a few days later and the work was done. I trust John and his crew a lot he has done many projects for me and I know my house is not an easy one to work on. But John and his guys always seem to get it done right and looking good if not better than I imagined. I highly recommend them for any work you need done.

Roof replaced after hail damage

John quickly made sure our roof was in good order after a hail storm and made sure there wouldn't be any additional damage with leaks. John worked closely with the claims adjuster as an advocate on our behalf. The repair work was completed on time and within budget in a very professional manner. I hired LJS to replace my roof this spring. Both John and Kris were very professional, responsive and helpful during the entire process, from coordinating with my insurance adjuster to following up after the job was finished. They did excellent work and were good stewards of our property while conducting the job. I would highly recommend LJS for roofing and home improvement!

I have had LJS install two roofs, one on a previous home and the one where I now live. They did an excellent job working with me and the insurance company. They were on time, did the work as promised (plus a few extra problems encountered), and cleaned up after finishing. John is very professional and he or his coworker were here to supervise throughout the entire process. I would highly recommend them.

Not worth contacting as would not give me the time of day

I have hired John to perform many jobs over a period of 5 years, and he is my "go to" guy for construction jobs both large and small. He said he can build a home from the ground up, and if I need that he is my guy! He replaced our roof as soon as we moved into our new house and we've had no problems with it. I had a child several weeks premature and we hadn't completed our nursery yet. Due to health concerns with our premature infant we had to make her room as allergy free as possible. We called John on short notice telling him we needed wood floors laid and about our situation and he was out to put the flooring in the next day! The floors look great. During the pregnancy of our second child we learned that our basement had a leak and mold was festering from a prior flood. Again, we told John we had to get it cleaned up before the new bundle came home and he was out in record time again! He performed the mold removal, repaired/replaced the drywall, tore out cabinents, etc. Not only is his work quick and professional, but John is a perfectionist. You can be sure that everything is done just right. We had another contractor in our basement to hook up our surround sound and he said that whoever did our drywall did a great job and asked for John's information. You won't be disappointed. I am glad to write this survey.

I noticed water stains in my bedroom along the chimney and knew there had to be a leak on the roof but assumed it was just the flashing around the chimney. I contacted LJS and John promptly came out , inspected the roof and determined I had hail damage. However, I had missed the deadline for reporting same. I gave John the number of my insurance agent and he took care of everything for me, from having the adjuster inspect the roof, getting my claim filed and getting a new roof put on in 2 days, including the garage!! The workman were professional, clean and gone before I knew it. I'm a very happy camper and will always call on LJS for home repairs I can't tackle myself. THANKS!

LJS replaced my storm damaged roof. I am extremely pleased with the workmanship and with John and his crew. John noticed items that should be done to make the repairs and / or my roof better. He worked with me and my needs. The crew was very professional and respectful. LJS will be coming back to do some more work for me in the future.
