We have been doing business with the Laursen's for over 10 years. Our children are now grown and driving and they take their vehicles to Laursen's. As a family we are all very happy with the service and the friends and family atmosphere. A level of trust you don't find very often. Yes we all would recommend the Laursen's for your vehicle repair and maintenance needs.

This company was a god send. We were traveling from out of town when the wheel bearings on our travel trailer froze up. They were very courteous and caring. Parts had to be ordered,so we decided to continue home and leave our trailer with the good folks at Laursen's. They fixed the trailer and called when it was done and offered to need us half way. WOW what service. I would highly recommend this repair shop.

I called Laursen repairs because I was having troubles with it. I talked to a gentleman name Anthony and he was very helpful. He told me to bring my car right in and they would take care of it. The service was fast and friendly and I would recommend them to anyone.

For the person who wrote the bad review about our service am sorry how you feel but you failed to say that you had your rack &pinion replaced after we did all the work and you failed to mention that we gave you all your money back for the work that we did. We pride are selves on the work that we do.

My car broke down in Montrose and someone recommend Laursen Repairs. I am glad they did. The service was fast and friendly and priced just right. I would recommend them to all my friends and family.

I would not have given them one star, but there was no other option. In July, I purchased 4 new tires, an alignment, and a inner tie-rod. Steering was becoming wobbly, so I called Laursen's to see if they would look at it for me. I was told that 90.00 was the diagnostic fee. So, after calling around, I felt that I should just take it to the Dealership in Grand Junction if I was going to have to pay for someone to look at it, I might as well be someone who knows about the vehicle. On the way to Grand Junction, the steering became wobbly and a front tire blew out on the highway. I had to call a tow to get the remaining way to the dealership. The conclusion of the dealership technicians was that the "alignment was not done or poorly done" to cause the inside of both front tires to wear down to the steel. I contacted Laursen's to inquire on the warranty of the work done and tires, I was accused of getting into an accident and knocking the vehicle out of alignment, as well as refusing to pay for my tow, gas money to get the vehicle repaired CORRECTLY, and refunding me for work that was not done or done poorly. I was also told that they did not care what the Dealer said about why the tire blew out on the highway, and laughed about my inconvenience and trauma incurred by their shoddy work practices.

Not Happy!!! Purchased 4 new tires, alignment and tie-rod. Called Laursen's to report steering issue and get diagnosis for dash lights being on. I was informed that they would charge 90.00 for them to look at my vehicle. Even though I was recently in for repairs. I was sent away. Made appointment at dealership. Front tire blew out on highway on the way there. Had to get tow. Dealership concludes alignment was not done or done very poorly to ware inside of new tires to steel. Had to purchase new tires and alignment. (original tires purchased in 7/13 new tires and alignment 9/13.) Company will not refund fee for tow, gas, or original labor for job that was not done and caused more stress.

The fuel pump on our sport van started to fail near Montrose Colorado in the mid afternoon on our trip from Utah last year (2012) to see our in-laws near Pueblo. We ended up at Laursens. They did a good job of diagnosing the problem fairly quickly. We had to stay one night at a nearby motel while they ordered a replacement for us. They got the part in next morning and had us on our way by about 11:30 AM or noon. The car has worked great since then. Quite pricey. I could have probably saved a few hundred dollars in Salt Lake City (where I live). Still, they knew we needed to get going soon and expedited the repair for us and resolved the problem fairly quickly. Service deserves 5 stars. Price deserves 1 star or possibly 2 stars (considering they are in a relatively small market city). 3.5 stars would seem most appropriate. Tough choosing between 3 and 4 stars for them. They were very friendly and nice people.

This company has a very poor business practice. They overcharge and have very poor customer service. As well as they company supports its employees poor habits in personal matters that puts their customers and businesses at risk. People should think twice before they do business with this company!
