My daughter loved it.Counselors were very nice ad she hasn't stopped singing the different songs she learned. Cant wait for next summer to send her back again, this time for two sessions.

I love how completely immersed in nature this camp is, I doubt there is a more powerful environment for stripping away all of the distractions of life and becoming totally a part of what is going on around you. You can really get your hands dirty here, and live, and explore, all in one of the most beautiful settings you will ever lay your eyes on. And I love how autonomous each camp is -- there is no one telling you what to do, or what your day should look like. Each group is its own unit, doing its own thing, so you can really make every day something amazing. Campers get to follow their interests every day, they are not just walked from point A to point B. This is quite the challenging task -- it's a lot easier to fall back on a pre-planned schedule, with pre-assigned blocks of time to spend doing different activities. I would much rather create something that is my own. So much more meaningful. So much more work! But bring it on!

Horrible summer camp to work at. You sleep outside in a tipi, which is not bad but it's just a mud floor crawling with bugs, and it's so small you don't have anywhere to put any of your clothes. You go to the toilet in a hut outside which is crawling with bugs and insects because underneath the toilet seat is a large hole which holds months of human excrement. God forbid if you need the toilet during the night ! You need to trek into the woods to sit in one of these huts which becomes a breeding ground for bugs during the night. The stench alone is enough to make you vomit. I'm not a clean freak by no means, however I for one like to wash my hands with hot soapy water, which you cannot do obviously because there is no sink. However that's not the only reason this summer camp got a 1 star from me. It's also because of the food, I am not a fussy eater. But you will definitely lose an unhealthy amount of weight while working at this camp. For breakfast you can enjoy half a bagel and a bit of jam. At lunch all I got was carrot sticks and humus one day. Furthermore, if you think you can handle the inhospitable living conditions and the poor quality and quantity of food, then you will be in for a treat when it comes to your actual work. Incredibly poor management, has resulted in a horribly planned programme for the kids and the counsellors. There is no day-to-day structure. No organisation or leadership, some of the people meant to be in charge appear to be so out of their depth it's unreal.

Having worked at several other summer camps, trust me there are numerous other camps out there which you will enjoy far greater than this poor excuse of a camp.
