Corum's Transmission Service

I read the review posted by a previous customer and get the feeling it must have been written by the owner.
My fiancé took in his old truck to have the transmission rebuilt, so that we could have something other then our tractor to push snow with.
These people kept calling saying all this stuff was going to have to be done for the truck to pass inspection. So we went from expecting to pay 500.00 to rebuild a transmission to 1214.13!
We trusted these people, paid them, picked up the truck and the next day started having problems with it! So we took it to a different mechanic and when he put it on the lift to raise it up the bed fell off the truck!!!!!!
The Mechanic was so upset that these people passed it through state inspection that he called the D.O.T and reported it before calling us to tell us what happened.
Upon going over the truck we found out that half of what they guy charged us for hadn't been done, upon other things!!!!!!
We put a stop payment on the check and called them to tell them how upset we are and he told us that it wasn't HIS problem and to pay him. We told him that we would be down to the shop on Tuesday to talk to him, he calls on Monday saying that he has talked to his lawyer and is going to sue us.
AVOID this place at all cost!!!!!!!!!
