I agree people at this office are so rude, I get treated much better at the welfare office where all social workers greet and wanna genuinuely help but these people are make your life a living hell.! They refuse to take my application and straight told me that I could not become my kids payee because of my kids dad went and said a bunch of lies gossip and my husband applied and was denied because they said confict of interest so I'm stuck with a payee who never returns my calls nor turns my paperwork on time which lead to my kids benifits being on hold. What about the best interest of my kids. The latin women do not like me and have been so discriminatory towards me and my kids and husband. I am tired of this office and seriously thinking of moving to another town.! They always lose my paperwork too and say since you are not the payee we do not have to accept your paperwork? Payee doesn't turn it in so I have to and they don't take it ...Discriminatory big time and Catch 22

My mother and I just moved to stanislaus county from L.A. County. Mother 85 is very ill and she walks with walker. We drove 15m to get to SS office the parking was easy! Right up front I got attitude from a security officer, which I felt highly offended. We waited from 2-3:30pm they finally called our number. This asian dude didn't even said hi or any thing, gave us the proof of income and told us we have to come back for change of the address when I asked can we do it now since we are here, he replied -we are closed- he didn't even want to talk with us. I don't know how the system works, but I am starting to regret the moving. What? the government workers have no heart? Chinese guy forgot this is America? Or US its just worse...
