Teeth Cleaning
The most important part of preventive dentistry is attending your routine dental cleanings every six months. During these cleanings, your hygienist will thoroughly clean your teeth, take any necessary digital X-rays, and listen to any concerns you may have. Then, your dentist will ensure there’s no cause for concern with your dental health through an in-depth evaluation. Your routine cleanings will give you confidence that everything to do with your dental health is right on track. This will also give you the chance to talk through your dental habits and ensure you’re doing everything correctly at home.

Fillings
Our practice accepts most major insurance providers and has other financial options available as well, including discount offers and no-interest payment plans. For most insurances, they will typically cover the cost up to the price of a silver amalgam filling and then the patient is expected to match the rest. The difference in pricing between composite and silver material usually ends up being less than $50.
Resin Composite
Composite resin fillings are made out of a ceramic and plastic compound. Since they are tooth-colored, the shade of the filling matches your natural teeth.

Prior to joining the Greater Atlanta Oral Facial Surgery team, Dr. Holmes served as the Director of Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery for the Northeast region of Geisinger Health System in Pennsylvania. He has a diverse skill set and extensive experience in dentoalveolar and implant surgery, facial trauma, minimally invasive and surgical management of temporomandibular joint disorders (TMD), sleep apnea, corrective jaw surgery, pathology and reconstructive surgery.
Maxillofacial Surgery
Dr. Curtis J. Holmes is a skilled, board certified Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeon. After earning a Doctor of Dental Surgery (D.D.S.) at University of Tennessee College of Dentistry, he completed a general practice residency at Indiana University. Following his residency, Dr. Holmes worked as a general dentist in the Indianapolis area. He also completed advanced training in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at the Brooklyn Hospital Center.
