Fairview Recovery Services is a part of the University of Minnesota Children's Hospital, Fairview. It offers a residential chemical dependency program for women up to the age of 18 who need a structured, supportive and supervised living environment. The facility s outpatient program includes the treatment of drug addiction. Fairview Recovery Services provides a range of programs for individuals who need to develop living skills, communication techniques, personal self-care, and social and recreational activities. Its treatment programs include rebuilding family relations, weekend home visits, and weekly family groups and lectures. The facility also offers primary treatment, public school instruction, community reintegration, and aftercare and relapse prevention planning services.
