In operation for more than 90 years, Greater Twin Cities United Way specializes in providing social services to adults, children and youths. The organization serves Anoka, Carver, Chisago, Dakota, Hennepin, Isanti, Ramsey and Scott counties, Minn. It offers support and home care services to adults and senior citizens with mental and physical disabilities. Greater Twin Cities United Way provides housing and financial and employment assistance to low-income families. The organization s educational services include general academic and special education programs. It also conducts various social and educational programs that include food drives and seminars.
