Teeth Cleaning
If not cleaned out every 3-4 months, this periodontal bacteria can grow to a point where bone loss starts to occur again. This is why 3-4 month periodontal cleanings are very important.

Crowns
The procedure used here involves uncovering part of the crown of the tooth and bonding a special orthodontic bracket onto the tooth crown. These special brackets have a pre-attached chain that can then be tied to your regular orthodontic wires.
Bridges
Two or three implants can be placed adjacent to each other to retain multiples crowns. An implant supported bridge is a structure similar to a traditional dental bridge with the exception that it is supported by implants rather than natural teeth. Often there will be an implant for each tooth that is replaced and the crowns may be attached to each other for greater pressure distribution and stability. It is generally accepted that two implants can hold a three tooth bridge, three implants can hold a four or five tooth bridge and four to eight implants are required to hold longer bridges or full-arch bridges.

Root Canal Treatment
Normally gum tissue surrounds and protects the delicate roots of your teeth. Exposed tooth roots are prone to tooth decay, root canals, discoloration and actual jawbone loss. All of this can lead to tooth loss in advanced cases.

Deep Cleaning
Scaling & Root Planing The upper level of infection in the pockets around your teeth can be removed using specialized instruments. This procedure is called, “Scaling and Root Planing", “Phase One Treatment" or “Initial Therapy". It is done under local anesthesia and is quite different from the routine dental cleaning or “deep cleaning" that is traditionally done in the general dentist's office.

Dentures
Dentures have to be taken out and soaked at night. During the day, they can also look unnatural and rub painfully. Dentures and partials make it difficult or impossible to eat certain foods.

Ridge Augmentation
Sometimes after an extraction, a sunken spot or concave appearance will develop in your gum line. This looks unsightly and can also jeopardize the appearance of a bridge that goes over the area. Grafting material can be inserted under the gum to fill out this depression.
Bone Grafting
Your jawbone is what supports your teeth and gums. Unfortunately, severe periodontal infection dissolves parts of your jawbone. This bone loss can eventually lead to the loss of your teeth. The first step of treatment is to remove the periodontal disease, which halts the bone loss. Then we repair the damage that has occurred. In many cases, various bone grafting techniques can be used to re-grow some of the jawbone that was lost.
