IGNORE THE FAKE REVIEW ABOVE FROM "CONTRIBUTOR". This place is a nightmare.

Any positive review of this place is surely written by the staff there--this place, and its staff are a nightmare. And Motel 6, in Richfield Minnesota appearsin the Richfield crime report every week

This place has some of the RUDEST, shadiest characters working behind the desk that I have ever seen in my life ( except for the Asian girl, they are all straight out of the crack-house).

After the last 'stay' there, my wife and I decided that Motel 6 has lost our 500-1000$ of fun money per year--we used to stay at Motel 6 to remember the 'good old days'. Those days are over at Motel 6 Richfield, Minneapolis.

Marisa, the pimple faced manager, locked me out of our pre-paid room( on the third day), and then her lisping, bowl-cut assistant, Travis offered to solve the problem--by threatening to call the police after I asked for the corporate phone number!

There's some creative customer service--are you listening Jim Amorosia, CEO, Motel 6/Studio 6? Lance Miceli, Olivier Poirota, Laura Rojo-Eddy? My wife, a fortune 100 exec, will be contacting you shortly.

Apparently, the motel registered both me and my wife under her last name ( these people at Motel 6 Richfield aren't used to dealing with diversity, unless its a crack dealer) and when they refused to re-charge my room key ( funny, it worked fine the night before when the room was pre-paid), I was locked out for 6 hours .

So, my pregnant wife (8-months along) had to leave the hospital in the outlying area and drive 80 miles back to Minneapolis after Marisa ( the manager) and her bizarrely angry assistant Travis refused to let me in our room. Then, as I was on my way out the door, the fire department, the ambulance, and six local cops came running in the door--which reminded me that the security guard had told me the night before that the place is a a magnet for suicide attempts.

Oh: and lest I forget the bald headed guy in sunglasses who was wandering around the whole time ranting about his troubles with anger management after his many years in the 'intelligence community' and the voices in his head...

NEVER<> EVER AGAIN will we stay at this or ANY OTHER MOTEL 6.

And Marisa, your rudeness, incredibly unprofessional demeanor, and catty attitude are only matched by my memory of you smoking out front of the motel while chatting up that guy in the old Cadillac the day after we checked in. I will see to it that you are remembered for this in all the right places.
