I took my puppy into the Emergency Vet due to what I believed was a urinary tract infection (they confirmed) and was treated very kindly and with respect. Dr. Kim Anderson and her staff were attentive and kind toward my pup and myself. We were sent on our way with medicine and also advice toward signs or indications of a further need to bring Ginger back.

Dr. Gale and EVERYONE at Blaine Central are awesome. Very capable and caring, I’ve trusted them with everything from routine check ups to extensive dental work on my dog and they’ve always been just the best.
Vaccination
We have a full-service animal hospital with pet care services ranging from routine vaccinations to full surgical, pharmacy, laboratory, diagnostics, radiology and ultrasound.
Behavioral Counseling
Behavioral Counseling: We provide advice regarding the correction of behavioral problems such as excessive barking, chewing, spraying, scratching, digging, house soiling and aggression.

Do they include all the recommended information? Among other things they should include results of physical exams, laboratory results, interpretation of radiographs, doses and how medications are dosed. If the veterinarian does not care enough to record the information so someone else could help your pet in the future, how could he/she care about your pet now? If your pet was not put on the scale, how can they know the weight of your pet? Or how can they track weight changes? When something goes wrong with your pet, will the medical record help determine the problem? Proper medical records can save you time and money and may save your pet from repeated diagnostics and treatments.

Anesthesia: We utilize the safest available anesthetics and techniques to provide that extra margin of safety, which can be especially concerning for our older or high risk patients. Using state-of-the-art monitoring equipment (including oxygen saturation, carbon dioxide exhalation percentage, ECG, blood pressure, respiratory rate, heart rate and temperature), the patient’s vital signs are monitored carefully during anesthetic procedures. We use Bair Hugger warming systems for the most comfortable and safe anesthetic episode possible. Veterinary Surgery
Before you price shop for veterinary medicine, you should know a few things about what you are shopping for. It is unlikely that prices quoted over the phone will tell you the whole story. For instance, as hard as it is to believe, some veterinarians will quote the price for a surgical service – and when you get there – let you know then that the pet needs anesthesia which wasn’t quoted for. There are places where the price quoted may not include the ‘full package’ such as preanesthesia testing, pain medication, IV catheter and fluids. These things are important to your pet’s health.
