I own a jewelry store Oregon and needed to refer a customer I sold a diamond to, to a gemologist. Since I couldn't find one on google I called a couple of places that had rave reviews to get a referral to an independent appraisor. Snobby, rude, unhelpful comes to mind. My 4th call I got Ron, nice as it gets, no problem helping me out, told me to send the customer in and he'd verify the diamond matched the cert (inscribed GIA diamond with cert) NIce as he is, I thought I should give him five stars all day! To the people who don't "get it" You either get a good price, or you get lots to look at. You typically don't get both. If you want to look at cases full of jewelry go to the mall and pay mall prices. If you want a good deal go to the mall and figure out what you want and then tell Ron and he'll get you the best price on what you're looking for. You don't get to be competitive and have high overhead. It just doesn't work that way! Thank you Ron! Beth in Oregon.

Perry Cohn Jewelers has some of the best people to work with. My fiance and I are currently in the process of paying off a custom ring they made for us that is absolutely stunning. It is a real show piece and I couldn't have asked more from them. They worked hard to make the price and design work for us. In addition to that, they have been a real pleasure to get to know. They have an abundance of knowledge about jewelry and love sharing it with their clients. I recently had the opportunity to attend a fashion show and Perry was generous enough to allow me to borrow a gorgeous pair of earrings for the event. They go above and beyond here and I would recommend their services to anyone and everyone.
Timothy's Fine Jewelry was previously known as Karat House; however major changes were made with a new name and location. Tim Rains the new owner purchased Karat House in 2005; however the store has been relocated and strives to provide exceptional customer service through knowledge and experience. The mission of this relocation was to become the trusted jeweler in the north metro of the Twin Cities. Some of the finest pearls in Minnesota can be found at Timothy's and those would certainly not be placed at jewelry store that had a pawn shop ambiance. The new store emphasizes integrity and class with its extraordinary jewelry and personable staff.
