Dr. Bulan has received advanced training and is certified in: microsurgical techniques, ultrasound-assisted lipoplasty (UAL), CO2 Ultrapulse laser treatment and the latest non-surgical body contouring techniques using radio frequency through a variety of Alma Laser platforms.
MRI
In contrast, if silicone gel implants rupture, your body cannot naturally absorb the filling material. In addition, the silicone gel filling material stays intact even if the outer shell ruptures; this can lead to a condition called “silent rupture.” If silent rupture occurs, you may not know that your silicone breast implant has leaked or ruptured. To minimize the risk of silent rupture, Dr. Bulan advises his Northern New Jersey breast augmentation patients with silicone implants to undergo a breast imaging exam (i.e., an MRI or mammogram) every three years, starting the third year after the initial breast enhancement surgery as recommended by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA).

Mohs Surgery
Mohs surgery is an extremely effective skin cancer treatment that removes the entire tumor while minimizing disruption to the surrounding healthy tissue. During the procedure, the skin cancer is removed layer by layer and carefully examined under a microscope. This continues until the Mohs surgeon discovers “clear margins,” or healthy, cancer-free tissue around the tumor. This approach is ideal for keeping the maximum amount of healthy tissue intact and unharmed, while completely eliminating the tumor.
