Great Salon. I have been going to this place to have my hair cut and style, and have gotten different stylist and they all did a good job. Plus their prices are reasonable.

I had my nails done, manicure with gel polish. The reason it gets two stars was because the girl doing my nails was sweet, and I really liked her! She did a decent job with the polish, they do look good.. However! The clippers she used were rusty. None of the implements she used were sanitized.

She pulled out a bag full of dirty files, and other items. The reason I didn't make her quit was because she wasn't really cutting much of the cuticle off, or anything else, so I wasn't sure I would actually get injured.

The table we used was dusty, as were just about every other surface in the place. Thick dust!

The little table where they had a Kuerig coffee maker, maybe for guests? Was disgusting!

The place seemed very disheveled, seemingly run by teenagers. While there were no customers, the employees were just sitting around, lounging on the couches... Which would've been fine if the place was pristine.. I don't know, maybe it's just my own work ethic I'm transferring onto others.. But you don't get to sit around if there's work to be done unless you're on your break.

This was my first time there, and sadly my last. I was hopeful to have a place near me where I could get my nails done.

I wasn't really feeling that great, and had an appointment to get my hair cut after my nails. I didn't want to stay for the hair cut. Aside from not feeling that great, I really didn't want my hair cut with old scissors, or unsanitized cutting implements and combs. Honestly, I was scared that would happen. So I didn't keep my appointment.

I did tip the girl well because I cancelled my hair appointment, and like I said, she was sweet, and I liked her.

But, never again. I hope they clean up their act. They look like they might have potential.

I have been tanning at bodyheat for a couple of months now and I have only had great experiences every time I visited. Not to mention the beds are clean and give me a great tan. I would recommend this salon to anyone.
