Horrible service. Home Inspector David McMasters spent less than 35 minutes to inspect 3500 SQFT home. Can you believe it?

He didnt open the Attic to see. He didnt bring binocular to look at the roof. He didnt bring ladder. He didnt even attempt to climb roof to see if any damages.

He kept on talking to seller and spending time on his laptop. While he was inspecting home his another customer called who was at her Closing. Mr. David McMasters had forgotten to send copy of the report to her and she was yelling and begging to him to send the report. So he took 10 minutes out of 35 minutes he spent on that phone call.

As a buyer we wasted our precious time, money and opportunity in getting a home inspected by this guy. Never agin. Here is their full name, address. Stay away from him.

Also, I am going to file a legal complaint against him and his company with his licensing institution.

We bought a house less than a year ago. David McMasters was the home inspector we hired to check the condition of the house before we bought it.





It is less than a year and we are having sleepless nights thinking about what new problem will come up. Here are some big things he totally missed:



1. We found the first water leak just under the kitchen sink within one week of moving in. Spent close to $900 to fix that problem.



2. The egress (exit) window in the basement was broken. It was taped to the wall!!!! David completely missed this too. Now we need to install a new egress window.



3. He mentioned no evidence of mold in the house. When we had some window guys checked the windows, we found that every window has got mold around the corners. And the window guys told us that this is a problem that the home inspector should have easily noticed. We are talking about a $20,000 to $25,000 cost to replace all windows now. I will give him the benefit of doubt on this one as we encountered this problem 9 months after we moved in.



I would not recommend this guy or company to anyone.

David was Great, he is very thorough. He took the time to explain everything to us. We arrived 15 minutes early and he was already there. I will recommend David to everybody I know....5 Star all the way!!!!!

Master Home Inspector Company was recommended by my realtor. We were purchasing a HUD home and had a deadline as to when we could complete a private inspection. We contacted several companies on a Wednesday in hopes of getting it completed that day or the next. We found a few that could complete it on that Friday but that would have been too late. We contacted David Mcmasters from master home inspector co. and he said he could do it and have the report completed the same day. David came on Wednesday and did the inspection. Unfortunately we did not get the report on Wednesday, Thursday, or Friday. After calling David repeatedly he sent a report late Saturday night, unfortunately it was of the WRONG HOME! Then I sent David an email requesting a refund and stating he missed the deadline. It was the next Sunday morning that I received the report. Long story short David offered a partial refund if we signed a waiver of claim and didn't tell of our experience with his company. As you can see no such waiver was signed, no refund for us, and my complaint was labeled as griping. It was a huge mistake doing business with David Mcmasters.
