Message From The Founder:Thank you for your interest in Companion Care Stat. I have fourteen years experience in caring for the elderly within the Short and Long-Term Care Profession. Based on my experience it is my firm belief that the future needs of an aging population will not be met by utilizing the institutionalized model of both Short and Long-Term Care.The residents which I cared for made their desires abundantly clear- “There is no place like home” Companion Care was a tremendous opportunity to take all that I have learned about the proper care for the elderly and implement it into a home-care model. This means striving for the highest level of clinical competency by educating and testing our employees. Our Care Companions are educated and in-serviced in patient rights, confidentiality, infection control, hazardous communications, fire safety, bathing, dressing, transferring, toileting, continence and eating. The Companion Care “Clinical Competency Program” prepares our Care Companions to better meet the specific needs of your loved one. While our Care Companions are not Nurses, you will be pleased with the confidence and knowledge they have obtained and utilize in caring for the elderly.In addition to the clinical excellence offered by our Care Companions we have also educated and trained our staff in five star hospitality. We pride ourselves at creating unique training programs that are designed to exceed the expectations of our clients, we do this by instilling pride in the hearts of our Care Companions with respect to each and every detail from housekeeping to meal preparation. We recognize that you can pay someone for thier hands and back but they must volunteer thier hearts and mind.
